That God created the heavens and the earth.  That He created man in His own image.   That man rebelled against God in the Garden of Eden, and because of that rebellion, all men are born sinners.  That God had a plan to redeem man from this rebellion and bring man back to Himself.  That Jesus, as the only begotten Son of God, came to this earth to carry out God's plan for redemption.  That Jesus died on the cross, was buried and rose again the third day.  That Jesus ascended into heaven where he is seated at the right hand of God.  That some day soon He is going to return as the scriptures has said.  That when he went away He commissioned the church to go and preach the Gospel.  That he empowered the church with the Holy Spirit in order to carry out that assignment.  That salvation in Christ Jesus is for whosoever and all that will believe in Christ.  That the Christian life is a life of obedience to God and His Word.  That the Christian life is meant to be a joyful life here on this earth and that the Christian is meant to be victorious in every area of life .  That God wants to bless His children today spiritually, physically, financially, mentally, and socially, and that He made provision for each of these areas in His Word.  That we can recieve the infilling of the Holy Spirit today as they did on the Day of Pentecost.  That after this life, there is heaven for the Christian, and hell for all the rest.
